What gas line replacement & installation involves
Gas line replacement and installation runs new gas piping to appliances and replaces old lines that are corroded or undersized. It is needed when you add a gas range, dryer, water heater, fireplace or outdoor kitchen, finish an addition, or when an old line is no longer safe.
Improper gas work can leave appliances underfed and create serious safety hazards, so the line has to be sized for the total load and installed to code.
Mesquite Plumbing plans the route with you, installs the new line and shut-off valves, pressure-tests the system, and connects the appliance once it passes.
Adding a gas appliance changes the total demand on your line. We check the size of the existing pipe so a new range or water heater gets full pressure without starving the furnace.
Outdoor kitchens and patio heaters are popular across the Metroplex, and both need a properly sized line run safely from the house, with a shut-off valve you can reach.
