About emergency plumbing
A plumbing emergency does not wait for business hours, and neither do we. Mesquite Plumbing runs dispatch 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. When a pipe bursts, a sewer line backs up into the tub, or a water heater starts pouring water across the garage floor, you call one number and a real dispatcher answers.
In the Mesquite area our plumbers typically reach you in 30 to 60 minutes. With a service department of 25 to 28 plumbers spread across the region, the nearest truck is usually already on the road, stocked with the parts for the most common emergency repairs.
Not sure it counts as an emergency? If water is reaching floors, walls or ceilings, if sewage is coming up, if you smell gas, or if you have no water at all, call now. For water damage cleanup we refer you to Hunt Restoration, so the plumbing and the drying both get handled.
How it works
What to expect
- 1
Stop the damage
Shut off the main water valve if you can. For gas, leave the house first and call from outside.
- 2
Call (972) 285-5938
A dispatcher takes your address and the problem and sends the closest plumber.
- 3
Repair on the first visit
Trucks carry parts for burst pipes, failed valves, water heaters and drain backups.
- 4
Plan the next step
If a bigger repair is needed, you get the options in writing before we go further.
Questions
Emergency Plumbing FAQs
Do you charge to come out at night or on holidays?
Call and ask the dispatcher. They will tell you what applies before a plumber is sent, so there are no surprises when the truck arrives.
What should I do while I wait for the plumber?
Turn off the main water shut-off, move valuables away from the water, and keep people away from any sewage. If you smell gas, leave the building and call from outside.
Do you handle water damage cleanup?
We fix the plumbing. For drying and restoration we refer you to Hunt Restoration. We do not file or handle insurance claims.
