What tankless service & installation involves
Tankless water heaters heat water on demand instead of keeping a tank hot all day. They take up far less space, can last up to 20 years with care, and do not run out of hot water the way a tank can.
Mesquite Plumbing installs tankless units, including conversions from a traditional tank, which often need a larger gas line, new venting and a dedicated location. We also service existing tankless units, which need regular descaling to keep scale from building up in the heat exchanger.
If your tankless unit shows an error code, delivers lukewarm water or cycles hot and cold, call us. We diagnose the fault, clean or repair the unit, and tell you honestly when a repair is not worth it.
Households that run out of hot water during back-to-back showers, or homeowners who want to free up a closet or a corner of the garage, are the most common tankless customers we see.
How it works
Our process
- 1
You call, a dispatcher answers
Day or night, a real person takes the details and sends the nearest plumber with the right parts on the truck.
- 2
We find the cause
The plumber inspects the fixture or line and tells you what failed and why, before any work starts.
- 3
Clear options, your call
You hear the repair and replacement options in plain words, and you decide what gets done.
- 4
Fixed, tested, cleaned up
We run the water, check for leaks, and leave the area the way we found it.
Questions
Tankless Service & Installation FAQs
How long does it take to drain a water heater?
It depends on the tank’s size, but generally, it takes between 15-45 minutes to drain a water heater. When you hire Mesquite Plumbing, we inform you right away about what to expect and how long our services should take.
How can I detect if my water heater is leaking?
Installing a leak alert and automatic shut-off system is the best way to detect leaks. This system connects a valve to the water line feed and a sensor in a pan near the drain tube. Any leak triggers a leak alert and simultaneously shuts off the water intake to minimize damage.
